The first Microsoft product to be sold, wasn't ms-dos, but rather the BASIC language interpreter for the Altair 8800, which was just a code interpreter, not an actual computer system, but then they released an official operating system based off of the windows kernel, which was ms-dos, and then moved into the current age Windows. ~Travis Vonheeder
